Gustar Oral Presentation Packet
Oral Presentation: Gustar and Similar Verbs
For this assignment you will work in groups to create a video or a skit/poster/PowerPoint to present orally in class.
Requirements:
v This presentation should be no more than 5 minutes long.
v Each person needs to present
o 3 likes
o 3 dislikes
o 1 thing that interests you
o 1 thing that bores you
o 3 adjectives about yourself
Oral Presentation
- Each group will create a script that includes all of the above information. This script will guide you through your presentation.
- Your statements must be complete sentences. Also, you cannot simply use infinitives. Sentences must be complex and interesting.
A bad example: Me gusta cantar.
A good example: Soy divertido, me gusta cantar en la coche.
A bad example: Me gustan mis amigos.
A good example: Soy amigable, me gustan mis amigos porque son simpáticos.
- Then, you will have 2 options:
o 1. You may film a video to show your creativity and act out the different requirements.
Things to keep in mind:
§ Your video will be shown in class!
§ Your group is responsible for filming and editing the video.
§ Your video must be audible and every person must be seen on the video and present their information.
§ You may not read your information from anywhere. It must be recited from memory! Failure to do so will result in a loss of points.
§ You must bring in your final video by ________________________________ to Ms. Kennedy on a flash drive in order to ensure that it works!
- 2. You may present your information live in class. You can create a skit, PowerPoint or poster to deliver your information. You may have writing on your poster or PowerPoint however DO NOT read from it directly!
