  1. i think its a good thing that you can view the body of a loved one lost and still have the same feelings as you did when they was alive. i feel as tho its a great opportunity to reunite and let them know you still care for them. i wouldn't celebrate it because by looking at the grave would bring back that tragic day they left.

  2. i agree on how they view the dead during the celebration of the day of the dead. I think is a good thing to visit your love ones grave. There's no need for an occasion though just to visit them. Its good that there's a day devoted just for them. Yes, I do celebrate this holiday because its in my culture.

  3. i think its good that we get a chance to view the body of a loved one during the celebration of Day of the Dead. i feel like its a second chance for you to get to know your loved one a little bit more than before. No, because visiting their grave will only make things worst than it already was when they were alive.

  4. I agree with the way people veiw Day of the Dead because you spend time with your lost ones and the people you love and have pasted. I like the idea of people spending time at their loved ones grave because they show that they care and stil wish they were there with them. I wouldnt celebrate this holiday given to me because going to graves would make me feel upset about who i have lost

  5. I don't really agree on how it is viewed because its kinda of like a celebration for them rather than a sad time. I do like the idea of visiting loved ones graves once a year to spend time with them I think its a nice gesture. I wouldn't celebrate this holiday because someones death is not a celebration to me. I also think that you shouldn't need a holiday in order to visit a persons grave.

  6. I agree with the way it's been viewed because it really doesn't have to be a sad time. I think it should be happy to remember all of those good classic memories & moments that were shared. Also, it brigs you together with everyone in your family from small children to the elders of the family. The concept of visiting loved ones at the grave is an "of course" moment. To me it shows the true personality of someone especially someone who goes repeatedly, their attachment, love, dedication. If it were apart of my culture I would certainly celebrate it. Not to mention a free holiday from school since they return in august.

  7. I feel like they view death on the Day of the Dead very positively. I both agree and disagree, because either way, if a loved one of mine passed away, I'd be upset but have a sense of relief as well. There is, however, a feeling of sadness whenever I visit a loved one's grave, but I do not think you need a special day to go and show your respects. I think it's a good idea, but just one or two days a year is by far not enough. Yes I would celebrate this holiday because it gives a positive outlook on death, while now, I only look at it as a negative experience.
