I think that it's a wonderful idea that bull-fighting is going to be banned. These innocent bull's lives are being taken because of a traditional thing. It's not right at all, even though the meat is going to the orphan.. I think they can get food from elsewhere. Not from an animal that has been tortured.
ReplyDeleteOH! I LOVE THAT THEY BANNED IT!! I don't understand how people can watch a bull get tortured and be like "OLE!". It's horrible and I am 100% against it. I love animals and if anything I rather see the guy get tortured more then I would want to see the bull get tortured. Animals are innocent souls, they just want to be loved and taken care of. Its the human beings who are ruining the planet with their littering and chemicals. There's no need for bullfights, giving the poor people meat or not, I still think its wrong. It gets me so angry how people treat animals and I don't even like meat. The only thing good about it is that it gives you nutrition. GO BARCELONA FOR BANNING BULLFIGHTING!
ReplyDeleteI think That banning bullfighting is a great idea.I agree with it one hundred percent.First of all mocking animals should not qualify as a sport.Matadors should be ashamed of their-selves and so should all those cheering them on.How can people cheer on other people torturing an animal by making it chase around a silly little red cap while stabling it several times until finally killing it .Whats worst is that people give them gifts while they drag the dead animal around the stadium.It's good that they use the dead bull to feed the poor,but it shouldn't be you playing the the animal to do so.I if you want to help the less fortunate by all means do it.Just kill a bull and give them the meat.Don't make a sport on torturing the poor things.I think that the whole idea of giving the meat to the poor was just a cover up on how unjust bullfighting really is.Torturing animals is not traditional its just sick.Other countries should take notes from Barcelona !
ReplyDeleteWhen you think of bull fighting, your first instinct is the matador will be the first to get hurt, knowing it's up against a bull. But, nobody would ever think that the bull would be the one dying. I believe that banning bull fighting is a great idea. If abusing an animal is your idea of a sport or having fun, you are a sick person. Yes, the meat is going to an orphanage, but you're steady killing so many of them. It's also horrible how you're teasing the animal by making it run after the capes causing it to be exhausted. Abusing an animal should not be a hype nor shall it be praised. So, I think it's a good idea that it's being banned.
ReplyDeletei think it should not be banned because its apart of a tradition and they cannot kill a tradition.They also give food to the homeless and charity. So they are doing it for a good cause. So I think they are wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think that bullfighting should be banned everywhere because its torturing. I don't know how people find it fun. I think your sick if you can watch a bull being killed and it's just sad that so many people pay to watch someone stab a bull. Honestly, I'd rather see the matador get hurt then the bull since their innocent, just saying. I don't really feel like being here for another hour saying how i hate animal abuse so I'll just stop now.
ReplyDeletei think that bullfighting is a little unusual and cruel. i don't think that the bull deserves to die. I think you could use the bull over again for more bull fights.But that's how they do it in their country. its just like if how we have a baseball game every Sunday or so.i don't really know if Barcelona should allow it because i can understand where they are coming from wit the animal cruelty but to other people its a sport and the love it. so i think it should be banned if that many people say that its is cruel. and for the people that like to go to bullfights they can go to another country of city to see one.
ReplyDeleteBullfighting is both cruel and really unfair to the animal itself. I say Barcelona did a good thing, banning it from their city! I'd rather go hungry than knowing that my next meal came from an animal that was tortured right before being slaughtered.
ReplyDeleteI'm against bull fighting but I feel bad for the orphans, too. I mean why do they have to put a bull into a life and death tournament in order to feed starving people? That's unjust and pitiful. I also feel bad for the bull, too. I'm usually all for cultures and traditions but when having some guys provoking the bull and the audience jeering at it, that's just humiliating and disturbing. I'm not an animal activist or anything, I just skeeve at how they treat an misunderstood innocent creature.
ReplyDeleteI think Barcelona should have continued to run bullfights. Why? Well, first of all, the bull would have died anyways from being slaughtered to became food. Second of all if the bull does die from the fight, then at least it dies with honor. Lastly, when the bull dies people will feed it to the poor. This way everybody wins.

I think that bull fighting is very wrong. I understand that everyone is destined to die, but if your going to kill the bull it should be put to sleep, not stabed to death in an arena in front of thousands of people. I do not think that Barcelona has a culture value in it because its just taking another breathing, healthy bull off of the earth. They try to make it better by giving it to the poor, but in reality the bull was still murdered in a cruel way. This is the same as some one torturing a dog, or a cat. People seem to think that this is wrong, but are fine with them doing it to a bull. I absolutely think that it should be banned not just from Barcelona but from anywhere who holds it. Animals have a meaning in life and should be just as equal as you and I. How would you like it if a bull stabbed you to death in an arena full of thousands of other cheering bulls? The circle of life is what it is and organisms are born and they do die, but no living thing should be slaughtered to death for fun. If you don't support dog fights then why should you support bull fights?

Even Though The Bull Dies, He Was Going To Be Killed And Packaged In A Market Anyway A Year Before The Fight So At Least He Gets To Live A Year Longer and His Meat Will Go To Good Causes Such As Charity and Homeless.

ReplyDeleteI am totally against bullfighting.I believe that bulls should be left alone.Even though they kill the bulls anyways regardless of the fighting to feed the poor,but I'm sure that there is someway to find some other food source to feed the poor. just the thought of killing an animal that has done nothing to deserve it.
ReplyDeleteI think that bullfighting shouldn't be banned completely because it is apart of their Spanish culture and they have been doing it for many years. I even though it is cruel, they were going to kill the bull anyway but in this case they are going to give the meat to charity which benefits the poor.
ReplyDeleteI think it should be banned because it is animal cruelty. They are abusing animals , and I am AGAINST any type of animal cruelty . They are taking the bulls against their will and they torture them slowly. Then they kill them . I feel bad for the homeless people ,but that doesn't mean that they should kill bulls to feed them . That is why they have things like homeless shelters and food drives . I personally would rather see the people get killed because they can defend themselves ,but the bulls cannot.
ReplyDeleteWhat i think about bull fighting is that it is showing animal cruelty to the public. Like why would really show people killing live animals in front of a crowd for fun. that's kind of disgusting in a sick way. i have a feeling that the Mexicans that did this are going to be killed and dragged all of their house on the next day!!
ReplyDeleteI am completely against bull fighting. It's basically animal cruelty. The fact that they tire out a bull, stab it and provoke it to attack them only to kill them at the end is horrible. I doubt that the mantadors would like it if they got tortured, killed and then dragged around a stadium to people that applaud your death.
