  2. I agree on how everyone celebrates the death of a loved one because it is a continuation on life. People in America just forget about their loved one and move on. Spending time with that family member is a goo thing because you probably can relax your mind and say how much you miss them. I would celebrate this holiday because it would give me peace of mind.

  4. I think that the celebration is a good way to remember your loved ones that have passed. I think that it shows how much you really care and value that person, it shows that even though they are gone they are not forgotten. I think visiting your loved ones grave is a very good thing. I visited all of my brothers grave after they died, and I still do. When i visit their graves I talk to them as if they were here, I think it shows them that even though they aren't here physically ,they are here spiritually.
I would celebrate this holiday , because it is letting that person know that you haven't forgotten about that, and that they are still in your hearts.

  5. I agree on how death is viewed during this celebration. Not only was death viewed but also the life of the lives that were lost. I like the idea of celebrating at the loved ones grave so that a person can feel closer to the one lost. I would celebrate this if given the opportunity because of the ethnic traditions of food and activities

  7. This is a good way to remember loved ones who have passed, and to celebrate life itself. It makes you think about good memories. I'd celebrate this day also because it gives people another outlook on how they can see life.

  8. I think that the way death is viewed is very cleaver way to look at death. many people look at death as something sad or bad. It's nice to see the good in things. besides your always suppose to look on the bright side and that's what the people in Mexico do.

i think that visiting a loved ones grave is a grave is a good way to still remember them and show your love for them. Usually when people visit the graves of their loved ones their sad and they often cry. But they should really be happy that they're in a better place now.

If i had the opportunity to celebrate this holiday,I would. Would love to be happy and celebrate the deaths of all my friends and family member. besides I'm sure that they want us to be happy and not sad about their death, and I'm sure they're looking out for us up in heaven. :)

  9. Honestly, I have neutral feelings towards this celebration. I would consider it a good celebration because it's knowing that people don't forget their loved ones. It's nice to know that people are putting their time &dedication to commemorate those who are gone. It shows respect to know that that you're remembering them by doing all the little things they liked. But, I tend to have other thoughts about this celebration. Not all people can cope with losing a loved one. It'll be harder for them to 'celebrate' the loss of a life. So, maybe visiting their grave site wouldn't be considered happy for them. I personally wouldn't celebrate this holiday because I have a hard time pulling myself together after knowing the fact that I just lost somebody.

  10. I feel like this celebration is a good way to celebrate life after death. It shows that you still have love and respect for the person or people that past away in your life. A day at the cemetery seems like a wonderful opportunity to visit the graves of your loved ones, it's an opportunity that shows even if their not there, they will still be in your heart. If I had a given chance to celebrate the day of the dead I definitely would, I want to have one day off celebrating the lives of people I've lost in my life.

  11. I believe the way the Day of the Dead is celebrated is very sweet and heart warming. I agree with the way they celebrate it. It's a different way of seeing your loved ones. Instead of having an awkward moment where everyone is crying, your laughing about the good times, hoping that your passed love ones hear you laughing.

Also, I believe visiting your loved ones grave once a year and celebrating is actually very loyal and honorable. I look at the situation like, what if I was the dead one? Would I want people crying over me or celebrating me having a new life and being happy that I'm in a better place? I like the celebrating better. You can live on easier that way.

I believe I would celebrate this holiday if I had an opportunity because I like its message. Instead of crying over your deceased loved ones, you laugh, have fun and celebrate. Its saying that they're in a better place, so why would you be sad? It really speaks to me. Another thing that would make me want to celebrate this holiday is making candy skulls, they look kind of fun to make! =]

  12. I agree with how they celebrate death, because celebration and fun is what keeps people going. I wouldn't have a party at someone else's grave, but I like the whole idea. I think it shows that life goes on. Yes, I would celebrate it, because I lost a couple of people, and even though I will never forget them, we should still celebrate their lives.
