Hispanic Heritage month is September 15 - October 15.
Tell
us about a famous Hispanic. What is his/her area of expertise (music,
film, sports,politics etc.)? What are his/her most notable
accomplishments?
Miguel de Cervantes was a famous writer from Spain. He wrote the book called Don Quijote.
Don Quijote is a story about a man who went on crazy adventures and it
is up to the reader to decide if he has gone mad or if he is just ill.
He had a side kick, Sancho Panza, who isn't too bright. The two of
them always get into trouble. In one adventure, Don Quijote thought
that an inn was a castle and he asked the owner to dub him a knight and
Sancho Panza became his squire. Together, they went on adventures to
do knightly things like finding a maiden and fighting off giants (which
are really windmills!).

selena is a Spanish singer. she was a beautiful young women, pursuing her dreams. she was inspirational to not just women, but men too. Selena was not just a singer, but a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend! she though of others before herself. Selena not only had a career of a singer, but she opened her won store. she was very successful with that as well. Selena died at a very young age. she was shot by her manner who was jealous of her. the manner did not get arrest because she shot herself after she killed Selena. It was a very terrible thing that happen to poor Selena. her fans and family didnt know how to take the news when they found out. but Selena with always be in our memories and hearts.

She had sold over 60 million copies. She also won two Grammy Awards, Seven Latin Grammy awards, and she is one of the highest selling artist of all.
ReplyDeleteGeorge Lopez is a famous comedian. He is most known for his late night show called George Lopez. George is also a actor and a talk show host. He has a talk show called Lopez Tonight. I think many people can be inspired by George Lopez becuase he is very funny and has a lot going on for him. He was given awards and he was nominated for his show George Lopez. He is a good actor and a good tv host, but an extremely funny tv host. He was born to be a comedian and he is doing a good job on that and he will leave a great legacy from that

Gmhis mothers side of the family is hispanics and fathers side is African American.When Victor Cruz scores a touchdown, he does the famous "salsa" dance in honor of his grandmother, who taught him when he was a little kid. He is a 1x super bowl champion, a second team all NFL selection, and has set a Giants record for most receiving yards in a Sean (1,536).

Romo is a second generation Mexican American on his father's side and is of German and Polish descent from his mother's side. Tony Romo's athletic ability was evident even at an early age when he was selected for the Little League All-Star team.

Jose Antoinio Dominguez Bendares is famous spanish movie actor, director, producer and even a singer. He has played in many movies like Spy Kids, Puss in Boots, The Mask of Zorro and my favorite "Freedom Writers" . He was nomominated many spanish awards and awards from MTV.
